The Challenge

The client came to us with a critical need to modernize their operations. Despite their market leadership, they were hampered by low-power data transmission, which restricted their ability to innovate at speed. Additionally, they faced significant risks related to real-time telemetry delay.

Their legacy systems were essentially 'black boxes'—difficult to update, expensive to maintain, and causing friction in user experiences. The primary goal for the 'Smart Factory IoT' initiative was not just a technical upgrade, but a complete strategic overhaul to ensure future readiness.

The Solution

HSK Digitronix deployed a cross-functional team to tackle this complex problem. Our solution centered on a move to OTA (Over-the-Air) update system, ensuring both flexibility and robustness. We also integrated secure IoT gateway deployment to directly address the efficiency gaps.

The architecture was designed with modularity in mind, allowing independent scaling of core components. By leveraging best-in-class open source technologies alongside proprietary optimizations, we delivered a system that is secure, scalable, and remarkably fast.
